For the Love of Taylor Swift.
I wrote this to defend my music hero, Taylor Swift. She has been getting a lot of hate recently and I took things into my perspective and hers to defend her music and everything she stands for. I love her & nothing will ever change that. Let me know what you think...
“No matter what love throws at
you, you have to believe in it. You have to believe in love stories and prince
charmings and happily ever after. That's why I write these songs, because I
think love is fearless.” These words inspire me everyday. They were spoken by my
favorite female in the celebrity universe, Taylor Swift. She is all about believing in love, being
fearless, believing in a happy ending, and even sometimes remembering the bad
break ups and the horrible experiences you have had with people in your life. Her
music is inspiring and relatable, she loves her fans, and she is one of the few
female celebrities that actually have not gotten arrested nor done something
stupid to get into trouble. There is one thing that gets her plenty of hate
though, her constant songs that have the theme of love, heartbreak, and more
love. Who cares if she sings songs about love? She speaks for every teenage
girl that needs to find their voice, which is how I see it. All her songs speak
to me and I have experienced them and it is reality. I listen to her songs and
I do not feel sad anymore. Taylor has this way of lifting people up; she does
everything for her fans. She wants us all to have that happy ending. She wants us
to be fearless, and because of her I believe in happily ever after. I love her. I will always stand by her.

Thanksgiving: What am I thankful for?
When you think of Thanksgiving, what are you thankful
for? It is sometimes very hard to think of all the things that I am blessed
with, when I am blessed with so much. I have a family, a roof over my head, a
God that loves me, and wonderful friends that I have continued to grow closer
with over the years. I always give my gratitude to god for blessing me with my
singing voice and allowing me to have that talent to share with people. Some
people do not have even half of what I have. This year when I sit around the
table with my family, I will bow my head and pray for those that are less
fortunate then me. I will pray for the poor, the homeless, the abused, the
people that are way less fortunate than I am. They would love to be in my
position. I think it is crazy that some people are not thankful for all they
have and take everything for granted. I live each day like it is a blessing and
I think that everyone else should. All people want is money and more useless
stuff that will not be there for them in the long run. They neglect their
family, friends, and their God. Those are the three things that will always be
there for them. I will never take those things for granted. In the words of
Charles Haddon Spurgeon, “You say, 'If I had a little more, I should be very
satisfied.' You make a mistake. If you are not content with what you have, you
would not be satisfied if it were doubled.” Taking Charles’s advice I will be
content this Thanksgiving with all the things that I have been blessed with. I
will be thankful for the family and friends that have been with me through
everything, including the God above that will love me no matter what, through
everything. Now, when people ask me what I am thankful for this Thanksgiving, I
know exactly what I am going to say.

My Inspiraton: Taylor Swift
I decided to dedicate this post to Taylor Swift. She is my biggest inspiration for wanting to be a singer and she always will be. She has amazing talent and her music really speaks to me. She always gives back to her fans. Her voice and the way she acts on stage is something I study and watch, because I want to be just like her. She was never the popular girl in her hometown of Reading, PA, but she grew up and proved everyone wrong by becoming an inspiration. She is all about being herself, which is exactly how I want to be if my dream of being a professional singer, becomes a reality. I live by her advice, “No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind.” That's not the only inspiring thing she has said in her time as a celebrity. She speaks for every girl out there through her music. It is like she watches my life and then writes a song about it. Everything she speaks is something that almost every girl on Earth has dealt with. She is real, raw, and down to earth. That is why she is so inspiring to me. I could go on and on about her. I have all her albums, every DVD of her, and will continue to be a fan for a long time to come. She is beautiful and inspiring. She teaches girls that there is better things in life than "dating the boy on the football team". She even wrote a song "Ronan" which is based on Ronan Thomson, who died from cancer at only four years old. She collaborated with his mom and wrote a beautiful song. She is an inspiration and will continue to be for many years. I will love her and support her, Forever and Always <3
